Herzog Academic College allocates a significant budget each year to support faculty members conducting research in their fields of expertise, with the desire to promote the academic research and publications of faculty members. The college is not funded for research by the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Education.
A lecturer who teaches regularly at a rate of 75% or more is entitled to submit an application for reimbursement of research expenses in the amount of up to NIS 4,000 per year.
The support is intended for the sections that appear on the form: translation of articles and research proposals into English, research assistants, participation in conference fees, travel expenses to international conferences, and also support for artificial intelligence subscriptions – all the details are on the form.
The implementation of the budget is conditional on granting credit to the college, submitting receipts, and receiving committee approval.
A budget year for the purpose of submitting receipts, corresponding to the academic year, will begin on September 1 of each year and end on August 31 (the receipts themselves, with the request for reimbursement, can be submitted until October 31 of each year).
The first round of submission of forms: until February 13, the second round: until July 10, and the third round: until September 11.
