Herzog College is shaping the future of the Jewish people by training educators and developing innovative educational resources to enable teachers to inspire today’s Jewish youth as they grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

Established in 1973, Herzog is a leader in teacher training and pedagogical innovation. Today, more than 3,500 students are enrolled at Herzog’s four flourishing campuses in Israel, and teacher-training seminars throughout the Jewish world. Herzog is internationally recognized as one of Israel’s oldest and largest teachers colleges.

Herzog provides:

The college operates according to the vision of Rabbi Eliezer Meir Lifshitz zt”l, a pioneer in religious teacher training in Israel, and in the spirit of the former Roshei Yeshiva of Yeshivat Har Etzion, Rabbi Yehuda Amital zt”l and Rabbi Aharon Lichtenstein zt”l.
