Organizational Structure
The main purpose of the Research Authority is to support the research of Herzog College teachers and to initiate independent or joint research projects with other institutions.
The research proposals are examined and approved by the Research Committee, which is a professional academic committee that includes experts from various fields.
The head of the Research Authority, together with the College’s management, form a steering committee that determine the general policy of the Research Authority.
The Authority’s management provides the framework for research activities at the College, including assistance to teachers in their research activities, budget management and administration of the Authority’s website, which is maintained by the College’s IT staff.
The research authority of Herzog College is one of the wings of the college and it relies mainly on the administration and physical infrastructure of the college.
